2Amagasaki City Fishing Park
Equipped with fishing jetties on the mouth of the Mukogawa River and boasting views of Osaka Bay, Amagasaki City Fishing Park’s proximity to a river mouth means it is stocked with varieties like Japanese sea bass and sea bream and is well known as an excellent fishing spot, even for beginners.
3Memorial Park (Baycom Gymnasium)
Memorial Park comprises Baycom Gymnasium, an athletics track and field, a baseball ground, and tennis courts. The park is the focus of the city’s sporting activities, and can host everything from community sports days to national competitions.
4Boat Race Amagasaki
A short walk from Amagasaki-Centerpool-Mae Stn. on the Hanshin Railway, Boat Race Amagasaki has races on 180 days a year, as well as off-site betting facilities for other boat racing events nationwide.
A free, five-minute shuttle bus ride from Sonoda Stn. on the Hankyu Railway, the conveniently located Sonoda Racecourse is short but varied, and offers an exciting trackside experience unlike JRA races.
